Individual Therapy

Individual Counseling is one-to-one psychological counseling session between a client & Psychologist, also known as Therapist. The counseling sessions are held in a safe, empathetic & confidential environment. The psychologist & client work together to achieve goals set during the counseling process, with the primary focus on helping clients manage the negative events/stressors affecting their daily functioning.

The process of counseling is not meant to provide a ‘cure’ but is rather a consistent process of feeling better & gaining clarity. It also plays an important preventative role in relation to mental illness.

The aim of any mental health counseling service is to:

  • - Empower the client by increasing his/her self-awareness & self-efficacy.
  • - Encouraging introspection.
  • - Developing positive coping skills.
